Alan Herman Addison, 66, a longtime resident of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in Slidell.

Alan was born in 1959 to William "Bill" and Mavis Addison, in New Orleans.

Alan worked for St. Tammany Parish as a maintenance supervisor.  He loved hunting, fishing, construction work, and making crafts.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents, William "Bill" and Mavis N. Addison; sister, Wanda McCrea; and a brother, William Glenn Addison.

He is survived by his wife of twelve years, Lisa Disotell Addison; sisters, Gennie Burns, Janet Nelson; three children, Brooke Courtney Addison, Alan Blake Addison, Brittany Michelle Addison; seven grandchildren, Addison Lea Deitenbeck, Zachary Raymond Deitenbeck, Colton James Flair, Everleigh Rose Addison, Michael Nathaniel Addison, Laithan gene Andrews, Whyatt Todd Mosley; and many other family members and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460, on Thursday, March 19, 2026.  Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon, followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell.
