Albert Joseph Brignac, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at the age of 79.

Born in New York, he was lovingly adopted by Eddie and Eunice Brignac and raised in Bay St. Louis, MS where he attended and graduated from St. Stanislaus Catholic School. He proudly attended Ole Miss as a math major and played quarterback for the football team. A life-long fan of Ole Miss and Saints football and basketball, he never missed a game.

After working for his father at Industrial Electric, he found his passion in clock making, spurred by his dad's fascination with them. He trained in the Black Forest of Germany for two years earning his certification in Horology. In late 1973, he finally opened his first store front. For 50 years, he did what he loved – repairing clocks and sharing stories from southern Louisiana and Mississippi.

He is preceded in death by his father Eddie, his mother; Eunice, his mother; Marie, his brother; Edmond, and his sister Dianne.

He is survived by his loving wife Nancy, children Al, Jr. (Donna), Desiree (Lance), Brian (Theresa), Becky, Betsy, Heather (Brandon), Candace (Tom), and Caelleigh (Elmer) and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Albert is also survived by his siblings Phil, Craig, Steve, Mike, Andree, and Denise.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,

1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 11:00 A.M.

Visitation at the on Thursday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
