Albert John DiNapolis, 90, a longtime resident of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, in Slidell.

Albert was born June 22, 1933, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and in 1961 he married Ellen Theresa Pellerin in New Orleans. In 1966 the couple moved to Slidell.

He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Ellen T. DiNapolis; two sons, David DiNapolis, and Frederick Buras (Liz); brothers, Frederick DiNapolis, Anthony DiNapolis, Henry DiNapolis Jr.; sisters, Mary Schaaf , Rita Troia, Anna Mae Troia, and Theresa Thiel.

Albert is survived by six children, Locke Andrew Buras, Pamela Osborne (Jack), Mary Conway (James), Henry J. DiNapolis, Stephen Paul DiNapolis, Michael J. DiNapolis (Keeli); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell 70461.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
