Angela "Micky" Venezia Lachney, 68, of Slidell, Louisiana passed away on July 27, 2023.

Micky was born on May 16, 1955, to her loving parents John Arthur Venezia Jr. & Helen Skinner Venezia, in New Orleans, Louisiana where she was also welcomed into this world by her Big Brother Johnny. Micky attended St. Agnes School, Our Lady of Prompt Succor, Immaculata High and graduated from Higgins High School, Class of 1973.

In May of 1977, Micky became the most loving and devoted mother when she welcomed her first daughter into the world, Mindy Lynn, then Mitzi Lynn in October of 1978. She loved her girls more than anything in this world and was their biggest cheerleader in life. On November 19, 1983, Micky married her husband of 24 years, Roger Joseph Lachney.

Micky is preceded in death by her husband Roger and her daddy Johnny. She is survived by her mom and best friend Helen, her two loving daughters, Mindy Mitchell and Mitzi Dowden; her son-in-Law, Brandon; her brother, Johnny Venezia; and sister-in-law, Noel. She is also survived by the little loves of her life, the ones who she got to be such an amazing "Moo Moo" to Tyler Schneider, Elijah Cureau, Miles & Kate Dowden, Cade Mitchell, Matteo Adams, Kaysen, and Keegan & Karston Contreras.

Micky has spent the last 25 years of her life working in the Hospitality Industry, welcoming guests into her community with her beautiful smile and witty personality. To know her was to love her, and she was adored by so many family & friends, old ones and new. She will be loved and missed beyond measure.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 11:00 A.M.

Visitation on Saturday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.

A Celebration of her life will follow services in the afternoon.
