Ann Baker Nichols, 90, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in Slidell.

Ann was born November 19, 1933, in Waterbury, Connecticut, to John Francis Baker and Anna Coleman Baker. On June 2, 1956, she married Lee Frederick Nichols Jr., in Waterbury. In November of 1977, the couple moved to Slidell. She retired from JCPenneys.  She was a parishioner and  Eucharistic Minister at St. Luke's Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Frederick Nichols Jr; a son, Lee Frederick Nichols III; brothers, John Francis Baker Jr., Mark Baker Sr., Ronald Baker, Warren Baker; sisters, Betty Baker Sturges, and Grace Baker Vail.

Ann is survived by two sons, Robert Nichols (Pam), Kenneth Nichols (Brenda); daughters, Elizabeth McQuiston (Eric), and Dawn Knight (Todd); sister, Karen Malz; daughter-in-law, Terri Morris-Nichols; seven grandchildren, Noelle Nichols, Kyle Nichols, Caylie Salge, Jennifer Crippen, Christopher Rabey, Leeanne Knight Ernst, and Austin Knight; two great-grandchildren, Ellen Crippen and Charlie Rose Salge; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2024, at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 910 Crossgates Blvd, in Slidell 70461.  Visitation will begin at 10:30 am followed by the Mass at 12:00 pm.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell.
