Our beloved sister, Anne Marie Olsen, born May 28, 1963, in New Orleans, Louisiana, a longtime resident of Slidell, Louisiana, and parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, passed away the age of 59 on January 14 ^th , 2023.

Beloved Daughter to the late Irwin J. Olsen and Elise Marie Bergeron Olsen, Sister to Sandra Olsen, Kathleen Olsen Smith, Michael P. Olsen (Sandy), and James F. Olsen. Preceded in death by her daughter Melissa Anne Olsen, sisters Mary Theresa Flickinger and Trina Louise Olsen.

Anne was steadfast in her faith as a Catholic, and she championed the Rosary. Anne said prayers for those in need, has a special place with "Our Mother in Heaven". Our sister was our sweetest angel on earth and brought kindness and love to those who were privileged to know her.

Anne was an avid Saints and LSU Tigers fan, she enjoyed watching football games with her mother, brothers and sisters. She also enjoyed going out to eat, shooting pool, and live music entertainment. Anne always enjoyed spending time with family especially at our Family Re-unions at Percy Quinn. Most of all, Anne Loved her puppies, Shelby, Rascal and Princess Ella and they would always be in her company.

We respected Anne, she worked for everything she had and enjoyed her independence. Though handicapped, she worked at Stennis Space Center, digitizing maps for NAV Oceanographic and helped others like her in the STARC community and worked as an assistant to for many years.

Anne's beautiful smile, wonderful laughter, gentle heart, and adventurous spirit will be profoundly missed. We will miss her greatly and this world has less sweetness and kindness because of her absence.

The meek will inherit the earth and GOD has a special angel at his side. Please Pray for us Anne, We Love and Miss you.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 400 Westchester Pl., Slidell, LA on Friday, January 27, 2023, at 11:00 A.M

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Friday after 10:00 A.M. until funeral time. The Rosary will begin at 10:30 A.M.
