Anne Hancock Smith of Slidell, LA, passed away at her home on the 18th of May 2025.  She is survived by her Husband, John R Smith, Son's Steven Smith, the late Christopher Smith and Brother, Paul A Hancock Jr (Sheila). She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Anne and Paul Hancock. She also had many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Anne was born in Midland, TX and moved with her family to Bartlesville, OK until she was 12 years old.  The family then moved to Slidell and Anne attended Slidell Junior High and Slidell High School. She attended Southeastern Louisiana University and made Slidell her home.  She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them, especially during the holidays.  She also loved the community and her friends.

Relatives, and friends of the family, are invited join a Celebration of Life on Friday, May 23rd from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Paul Hancock's residence.  Contact Paul or any family member for the address.
