Anthony Joseph DiLeo, age 75, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025, at Slidell Memorial Hospital after a long battle with heart disease. He was born December 10, 1949, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was a son of the late Joseph Anthony DiLeo and Grace Trovato DiLeo. A small, private memorial service will be held by his immediate family.

Anthony "Tony" DiLeo graduated from Cor Jesu High School in 1967 and attended the University of New Orleans, receiving his BA in Political Science in 1971. He was a lover of music, influencing his artistic side from an early age.  He sang and played guitar, wrote music, was an avid painter, and had a great appreciation for the unique cultural arts and festivals of New Orleans. He loved animals, particularly the dogs he had as pets throughout his life. Although he became a more private person in his later years, he expressed love for his family, friends, and neighbors, and often shared fond memories of them all.

He is survived by his son, Zack DiLeo, of New Orleans and now Bethesda, MD.; Zack's family including his wife, Ashley, of South Carolina, and their children, Lily and Robbie, of Bethesda, MD.; his brother, Joseph Anthony DiLeo and his wife Gloria and their children Andy, Gia, and Dalton of New Orleans; and his ex-wife and Zack's mother, Diane DiLeo, of New Orleans.
