Obituary

Anthony 'Tony' Louis Troyani Sr. was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a long-time resident of Joelton, Tennessee. He passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the age of 90.

He was preceded in death by parents, Simeon A. and Merlin E. Troyani; ex-wife, Rebecca W. Troyani; companion, Betty Lowe; brothers, Allen C. Troyani; and Albert P. Troyani; and sister, Merlin T. Hosch.

Tony is survived by children, Janet T. Wheeler; Anthony L. Troyani Jr.; Deanna M. Duke and their spouses; brother, Simeon A. Troyani; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tony had many hobbies and interests. He served in the Air Force in the 799th division, was an electronic technician, and worked at the Joelton FAA Radar Site. Tony obtained his scuba diving and motorcycle licenses while in his 60's. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as being involved in the community Civitan club.

Tony started his journey of faith as an Altar boy at Annunciation BVM Church at the age of 9.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation & Graveside Service at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025.

Visitation from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. with Graveside Service immediately following in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
