Barbara Diane Bennett Mauberret, 85, of Lacombe, Louisiana, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023.

Diane was born on August 28, 1938, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Frank and Florence Bennett. She graduated from Slidell High School and LSU and was employed by the Orleans Parish Tax Assessor's office for many years. Diane was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of 45 years, Claude Mauberret, Jr.

She is survived by her four children: Catherine Mauberret, Claude Mauberret (Carla), Lee Mauberret (Cheryl), Barbara Mauberret; seven grandchildren: Grace Mauberret, Sarah Corbello, Callie Mauberret, Dylan Mauberret, Meghan Lavie, Christian D'Antonio, Brody Taillac; one great-grandchild, Legend Mauberret, and her 'bonus' son, Jeff Magee.

Her family wishes to acknowledge and thank the wonderful staff at both Restoration Senior Living of Covington and Traditions Hospice for their care and compassion. A private Catholic funeral mass and burial will be held.
