Barbara Christine Sturm Martinez, 85, passed away on October 19, 2024.

She was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She never seemed to meet a stranger and was always there to help anyone who needed her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Martinez. She was a loving mother to four children, Ann, Clement (Diana), John (Jamie) and Michael. She was grandmother to Steven and Renee and a great grandmother to many children. Barbara was one of nine daughters and is survived by Mary Louise, Linda and Dianne.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at 106 Barbara Lane in Slidell.
