Beverly Boczon, born March 15, 1938, in Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2024, at Summerhouse Park Provence in Slidell, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Vincent and Anne Orzell Myers, her husband, Robert S. Boczon, and her, son Russell Cosgrove.

Beverly is survived by her son, Christopher Cosgrove (and wife Kathy); her grandchildren, Melissa Cavalier (and husband RJ), Christopher Cosgrove Jr, and Julie Solerwitz (and husband Michael); and her great-grandchildren, Isabella Cavalier, Tripp Cavalier, Andee Rose Cavalier, Wyatt Solerwitz, and Amara Solerwitz.

A dedicated professional, Beverly began her career in aviation at Bell Aerospace as the secretary to the Director of Engineering before retiring from US Airways after 25 years as a flight attendant. Her career allowed her to explore the world, and she cherished the opportunity to travel across several continents. In addition to her aviation career, Beverly was an accomplished artist who enjoyed painting. Her favorite mediums to use were watercolor and oil-based paints. Her paintings are her most treasured possessions left behind for her family and friends to enjoy and cherish. She had a zest for life, indulging in line dancing, baking cookies with her grandchildren, and gardening. A proud graduate of Delgado Community College and a licensed horticulturalist, she was deeply involved in maintaining the gardens at Crown of Life Lutheran Church in New Orleans where she was a member of for more than 20 years.

Beverly's vibrant spirit and dedication to living life fully will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,

1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11:00 A.M.

Visitation at the funeral home on Saturday after 9:00 A.M. until service time.

A reception will follow at Summerhouse Park Provence in Slidell.
