Bonnie Hall Clement, 74, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, in Slidell.

She was the first baby born in Mississippi on Thursday, January 1, 1948.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Walter Clement IV; brother, Jesse Hall.

She is survived by three children, Regina Clement Saunier (Lee), Walter Clement V (Lindsey), Ryan Clement (Katheryn); six grandchildren, Walter "Hill" Clement VI, Ava Saunier, Gage Clement, Brennan Clement, Caris Clement, Shelby Clement; brother, Gary Hall; sisters, Patricia Fennesey, and Brenda Hall.  She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.

Bonnie retired from the St. Tammany Parish School System as a bus driver and spent many years serving the Slidell community as a member of the Slidell Women's Civic Club.  Her generous spirit and zest for life will be deeply missed by her many friends and relatives.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022, at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, LA.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the service at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
