Brandon Charles Achary, 37, a resident of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2024. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and grew up in Slidell, La and St. Bernard, La.

Brandon knew that the only way to Eternal Life was through Jesus Christ, our Savior, and dedicated the last years of his life developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He faithfully studied the Gospel and enjoyed spreading the word of God to everyone he came in contact with.

Brandon was known for his loving, caring, sincere and funny nature.  He was a Licensed Electrical Journeyman and worked in multiple states before settling in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida where he resided with his Grandmother, Lorraine "Dee" Tassin.

Brandon enjoyed many things which included, playing guitar, fishing, snorkeling, grilling, doing impersonations, his dog Dax, spending time with friends, and above all, following the word of Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his mother, Melissa Roberts Tavlin and his father, Bryan Charles Achary;  Step-Parents, Donald Tavlin and Tina Achary; Siblings, Kelsey Bergeron Basso (Joseph), Madelyn, Julia, and Parker Tavlin, Brennan, Brenna and Bree Achary; Grandparents, Lorraine "Dee" Tassin, Richard and Miriam Roberts; Great Grandmother, Mary Louise Watson Rainey; God Children, Selena Shaneyfelt and London Borden; and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Brandon was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Joseph J. Achary; Grandmother, Cynthia L Rainey; and Great Grandfather, Douglas J Rainey, Sr.

Brandon touched the lives of many people, two of which were his lifelong best friends, Paul Mayeux and Chris Gonzales.  He would later add another friend to the list, Felix Padra whom he met while living in Florida.  These friends were more like brothers to Brandon and would form a bond that proved to withstand the trials and tribulation of life.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate and Honor Brandon's life will be held at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 61030 Brier Lake Drive, Lacombe, LA 70445, on Friday, March 15, 2024. Visitation at 9:30 am. Service to follow at 10:30am. The family kindly requests that everyone refrain from wearing black, and instead wear light and bright colored clothing.
