Brittany Leigh Burgess, 36 of Slidell and Kenner, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 in Slidell.

Brittany was born May 18, 1988, in New Orleans.  A longtime resident of Kenner, Brittany moved to Slidell in 2019.

Brittany was preceded in death by her grandparents Forrest Thomas Burgess, Maria Burgess, Loys Joseph Weber, Marion Betty Weber and Isadore Riley.  Brittany is survived by her mother Loretta Burgess; grandmother, Gloria Riley; fathers, Forrest Burgess and Jason Riley; brothers, Joseph Loys Riley, Giovanni Jude Riley, Michael and Mark Burgess; sisters, Aaliyah Riley, Casey McLemore, Stevie Burgess and Desiree Bourgeois; godchild, Jaylah Hamp; nieces, Brittany Lane, Dajah Miller and Joella Burgess; nephews, Aaron McLemore, Robert Lane, Dan Miller and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell Louisiana, on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 am followed by the Funeral services at 11:00.
