Brody Taylor Burtt, of Slidell, LA, passed peacefully in his sleep on September 25th, 2022. Brody is the beloved son of Katelyn Jane Soileau and Brandon Scott Burtt, and baby brother of Brandon Scott Burtt II.

Brody would have been two years old in January. His infectious smile and bubbly personality lit up the darkest rooms, and he brought joy to everyone he met. He loved to look into mommy and daddy's eyes and express his love to his family through his behavior, all the new words that he was learning, and blowing many, many kisses. His favorite words were ball, car, and his favorite food was bananas. We are filled with heartbreak and sadness that he has departed from us to join Jesus in Heaven. We mourn the loss of Brody and the future he would have had. He is loved deeply by those who are left behind, and will be missed forever.

He is survived by his parents, Katelyn Jane Soileau and Brandon Scott Burtt, his older brother, Brandon Scott Burtt II, his grandparents, Meredith Couvillion (John Couvillion), Margie Soileau, David Soileau, Jeffery Burtt (Carla Burtt), great-grandfather Jerone Burtt, Godmother Carli Soileau and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and family members.

He is preceded in death by his Maw maw Sylvia Burtt, his Great-Grandfather Malcom Smith, and his cousin Jonathon Alain.

on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 2:00 P.M.

Visitation on Saturday after 12:30 P.M. until funeral time.
