Camille M. Jaramillo, 82, of Slidell, Louisiana, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, June 19, 2025.

Camille was a dedicated homemaker, loving mother and wife. Her love for gardening was evident everywhere. She maintained a beautiful, vibrant exterior at her home. She also helped to maintain a section of the St. Margaret Mary Church grounds. Due to her knowledge and hard work, she obtained Master Gardner status through the LSU Ag Center.

Camille was also a longtime member of the St. Margaret Mary Altar Society. She enjoyed the fellowship with all the members in helping take care of this holy place. Camille and her husband were also awarded the Order of St Louis Medal by Archbishop Gregory Aymond in 2014 for their dedicated service to St. Margaret Mary church.

Camille was born in Denver, Colorado on May 22, 1942.  In 1965, she married her husband Ramon. The family moved to Slidell in 1973.

Camille was preceded in death by her father, Albert Jaramillo and Her mother, Julia Wanamaker, her uncle Liberato "Lee" Jaramillo, and Anita "Annie" Jaramillo, a cousin, Virginia Ann Villegas and her dear friends Frank and Rosalie Rhermann.

She is survived by her husband Ramon, and two children, Arthur and Renee along with cousin Robert Jaramillo.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Slidell, Louisiana, on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00am followed by the Mass at 11:00am.
