Carl William Mangus, age 92, of Lacombe, LA, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Marie Wood Mangus. Father of Steven Neal Mangus, Carla Mangus Krodinger and husband Carl Michael and the late Roy Gene Mangus (Victoria Ansardi). Son of the late Nathaniel and Eva Johnson Mangus. Grandfather of Wade M. Krodinger and wife, Brittney, Kayla M. Krodinger Gowan and husband Sean, Brandon Adams, Timothy Ansardi, and Misty Whitmore Alexander.
Great grandfather of Nora Jean Krodinger, Dean Joseph Gowan. Brother of the late Jerry Mangus, R.N. Mangus and Clarence Mangus.  Mr. Mangus graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a Petroleum option, at Oklahoma State University and was a retired Mechanical Engineer with Shell Oil Company for 40 years. A native of Broken Bow, OK and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Tammany Oaks Church of Christ, 3700 La-59, Mandeville, La. 70471, on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 12:00 o'clock noon. Interment, with military honors, in the Southeast La. Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Rd, Slidell, at 1:30 p.m. Visitation at the church on Wednesday after 10:00 A.M. until funeral time.
