Charles Joseph Flanagan, Jr, age 79, of Slidell, LA, went home to the arms of Jesus, on Monday, May 15, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Paulean Taylor Flanagan for fifty years. Beloved "Pap" and "Bonus Dad" of John Delancy (Toni), William Delancy, Mable Vicedomini (Noe), Ernie Delancy (Terry), Darlene Vinet (Keith, Sr.) and the late Judith Hilburn (Ronnie, Sr.). Son of the late Charles J. Flanagan, Sr. and Florence Mongan. Brother of the late Michael J. Flanagan and Richard E. Flanagan.  Grandfather of Marvin Delancy, Jason Delancy, Sean Delancy, William Delancy, Becky Keller, Melisa Normand, Wendy Delancy, Neil Vicedomini, Nicole Verberne, Nataly Wells, Fallon Marroccoli, Ronnie Hilburn, Jr., Karen Taylor, Joseph Colna, Jr., Brandi Gray, Keith Vinet Jr., Kevin Vinet and the late Lisa Delancy and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Also survived by a family friend, Milton Williams.

He loved his family, friends and his caring neighbors. He served in the U.S. Airforce as an Air Freight Specialist and was retired from the RTA/NOPSI as a Station Master.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA., on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 2:00 P.M.  Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Monday after 12:00 Noon until funeral time.
