Charles Ralph "Charlie" Laborde, 76, of Abita Springs, LA, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024.

Charlie was born on September 18,1947 to the late Herman and Jean Laborde. He served our country in the United States Marine Corp. which included a tour of duty in Vietnam. He also worked as an electrician at Avondale Shipyard for over 40 years.

Charles is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Mary Ann Laborde; and his niece, Jill Morgan. He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Rainey, son-in-law, William Rainey; and two sisters Mary Ann Scott and Paula Laborde. He is also survived by his nephews Patrick Beasley and Boyce Scott Jr. as well as, his niece Cara Beasley.

Interment will take place in the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
