Charles Edward Parker, age 73, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, in Slidell.

Born in New Orleans, he worked as a pipe fitter and welder for the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 60 until his retirement.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR but his greatest joy was growing vegetables in his garden that he shared with family and friends alike.

He is survived by one son, Brian Parker; one brother, Paul Parker; three sisters, Sandy Bray, Debbie Luther, Eileen Overbeck; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
