Charmaigne Ann Landrieu Elgiar, age 93 years, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Henry Joseph Elgiar and by the first marriage to the late Joseph Philip Guidry, Jr.  Mother of Joseph Guidry, III,(Carol) Gary Guidry (Darlene), Darin Guidry (Donna), Lauren Addison (Jeffrey ) and the late Craig Guidry (Veronica). Daughter of the late Francis A. Landrieu and Ethel Sinclair Landrieu. Sister of the late Francis A. Landrieu and Gloria A. Monninger. She was raised from the age of 6 years old by her Foster parents, the late Herbert Victor Monninger and Marie Louise Landrieu Monninger. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. A native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Slidell.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 28088 Main St., Lacombe, La., on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment in Hope Mausoleum.
