Cheryl "CiCi" Simmons, 69, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, in Slidell.

CiCi was born October 31, 1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to John and Gloriette Kiern, and grew up in Chalmette.  In 1976 she married Terry Simmons in Chalmette.

After Hurrricane Katrina the family moved to Slidell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Simmons, and a sister, Pam King.

She is survived by two children, Todd Simmons (Deena), Jessica Elsensohn (Glenn); five grandchildren, Cassidy Simmons, Ty Simmons, Alyssa Elsensohn, Madison Elsensohn, Brennan Elsensohn; and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460, on Friday, January 3, 2025.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
