Chien Thi Brooks, age 77 years, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022. She was the beloved wife of John Henry Brooks for 34 years. They were members of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Slidell. Chien Brooks was active in the church. She was well liked by everyone that knew her. She was willing to help others in their time of need. She is the daughter of the late Anh Dinh Tran and Hang Thi Pham. She is the mother of Push Phillips and the late Bucky Phillips. Chien is the sister of Dien Tran, Mai Tran, Thien Tran, and the late Phien Tran. She is also survived by 9 beloved grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd, West, Slidell, La. on Wednesday August 3, 2022 at 11:30 a.m.

Interment at 12:30 p.m., at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell.

Visitation on Wednesday after 9:30 a.m. until service time.
