Colin Deadmond, 75, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in Lacombe, Louisiana.

Colin was born May 17, 1950, in Lake Forest, Illinois, to Charles and Jean Deadmond. In 1970 he joined the United States Air Force.  After leaving the Air Force in 1977, Colin moved to New Orleans, working for the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where he met Sherry Gunther, whom he married in 1980.  The couple resided in St. Bernard Parish before moving to Slidell in 2006.

Colin was preceded in death by a son, Colin William Deadmond.

Colin is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sherry Gunther Deadmond; step-son, Michael John D'Antonio IV; and a daughter, Amanda Jean Deadmond MD.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, in Slidell, Louisiana, on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 12:30pm.
