Cynthia Brooks Baylor, age 66, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in Slidell.

Cynthia was born December 23, 1957, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Norman and Brenda Brooks.  In 1977 she married Kenneth Baylor in New Orleans and the couple moved to Slidell in 1982.

Cynthia was preceded in death by a grandchild, Caden Melerine.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Kenneth Baylor; children, Brett Baylor, Sean Baylor (Jade), Wesley Baylor (Morgan), a brother, Norman Brooks; two grandchildren, Beau Baylor, Poppy Baylor; and one expected grandchild, Banks Baylor.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460.

The visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the memorial service at 11:00am.
