Cynthia Ann Lewis, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert B. of Troy, NY and Avis L. Lewis of Slidell, LA.

Cynthia is survived by her son Daniel Patrick Thiel, II of Aurora, Colorado, two brothers: Michael R. Lewis of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and Craig A. Lewis and his wife Margie of Mandeville, LA, as well as her sister; Beverly L. Sellers and her husband Gene of Abbeville, LA.  She is also survived by numerous cousins, godchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A native of Long Island, NY, and a resident of Slidell for many years, Cynthia graduated from Slidell High School in 1972. She also attended LSU and St. Mary's Dominican College in New Orleans where she earned a bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene. She worked as a hygienist locally for over 25 years. Cynthia loved to dance, she studied ballet in New York and taught ballet and dance in Slidell for several years. She truly loved all types of music, especially since her son Patrick was a fellow music lover and talented musical artist himself. Cynthia also enjoyed gardening, as well as all sorts of arts and crafts.

The family would like to thank the staff at Summerhouse Park Provence in Slidell for their loving care of Cynthia for the last few years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 2:00 P.M.

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Friday after 12:00 P.M. until funeral time.
