Darla Marie Martin, 54, of Lacombe, LA, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, after a brave battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family.

Darla was born August 25, 1968, in Collins, MS. She was preceded in death by her mother, Fredia Dearman, Her father, Jerry Cameron, and her brother, Shannon Cameron. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend Kenny Martin as well as her sister, Debbie Logan, brothers, Jay Cameron, Joey Newell, Kent Dearman, Rickey Dearman, Jimmy Dearman, and stepmother Linda Cameron. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

To know Darla was to love her. She loved to be in the country and being out in her yard taking care of her flowers. She was an exceptional seamstress, and even though she could not have children of her own she enjoyed making children's clothes and selling them at every craft show and festival that she could. Darla enjoyed capturing every moment possible with her love of photography. She will be dearly missed by everyone.

1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 6:00 P.M.

Visitation on Tuesday after 4:00 P.M. until funeral time.

She will be laid to rest in Seminary, MS on Thursday June 22, 2023, in Oakdale Methodist Church Cemetery.
