Deanna Lynne Marks, age 57, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026.

She is survived by her daughter, Distance Klokner; her son, Dylan Klokner; her brother, Steven Marks; her sister, Casey Marks; her mother, Ann marks; her father, Gary Marks; her stepdaughter, Lydia Klokner; and many other loving family members and friends.

Deanna was a loving mother, sister, and daughter. Her love of family led her through life, always putting her loved ones before herself. Protecting those around her who needed to be protected. She was a caring and gentle soul, though she was fierce and strong willed.

Everyone will remember Deanna as a lover of music; she found joy and comfort in her favorite rockstars. She also loved cooking a good meal, watching a good movie, or cuddling with her cats.
