Deborah Garrett Countiss, 72, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, in Slidell.

Debbie, a native of Slidell, was born May 27, 1953, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Max and Barbara Garrett.  In 1980 she married Albert Countiss in New Orleans.  In 1984, the couple moved to Slidell.  Mrs. Countiss worked as a travel agent and worked for Walmart in Slidell for the past years.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Countiss; two children, Albert Countiss Jr, Deborah Countiss; one brother, Max Garrett III; and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive, in Metairie, Louisiana, at 11:00am.
