Dianne Gonzales Capdepon, age 81, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Capdepon for 60 years; The loving mother of Dixie Capdepon Munson and Clinton Capdepon; mother-in-law of Everett Munson and Victoria Gogreve Capdepon; aunt of Angie Guidry, Paulette Guidry Mataya, Norman Mataya, Crystal Guidry, Dawn Crouch, Spring Garcia, Craig Capdepon, and the late Giselle Guidry; daughter of the late Emile Gonzales and Doris Gonzales; sister of the late Carolyn Gonzales Guidry; sister-in-law of Charles Capdepon, Barbara Capdepon, and the late Leonard Guidry.

Dianne was also survived by her grandchildren, Miller Stock, Amber Stock, Monroe Capdepon, Perrin Capdepon, Bernadette Capdepon, Esther Capdepon and Josh Munson; as well as great-grandchildren, Kinsley Munson and Maisyn Munson.

Dianne was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Slidell.  She was a graduate of Francis T. Nicholls High School.  Throughout her entire life, her primary focus was caring for and spending time with her family. She was a devoted Mother and Grandmother. She was known as Granny by all her beloved grandchildren.  She loved her family very much and will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

She was the best wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend we could have all asked for.  She will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, LA 70460, on Friday, September 13, 2024.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell.
