Doris Miller Daire, 85, of Lacombe, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2022, in Mandeville, Louisiana.

Doris was born February 14, 1937, in Whiteville, Louisiana, to Dave and Lydia Miller. After growing up in Eunice, Louisiana, Doris married Joseph Daire and moved to New Orleans, Louisiana.  In 1974, the family relocated to Lacombe, Louisiana. She worked for Lacombe Nursing Center for over 20 years and was a parishoner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 70 years, Joseph Daire.

She is survived by six children, Michael Daire (Cindy), Charmaine Wilson (Jimmy), Christopher Daire (Raulynne), Brian Daire (Julie), Keith Daire (Rhonda), Anna Daire; fourteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, Louisiana, 70460, on Monday, April 11, 2022, at 11:00am.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 9:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials to St. Judes Children's Hospital, preferred.
