Dorothy " Dottie" Mae Wactor Pearson, 85, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in Slidell.

Dottie was born September 21, 1939, in Pearl River, Louisiana, to Ivie and Lottie Wactor. In 1958 she married Jerry Edward Pearson in Slidell, Louisiana.  The couple recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary.

She was preceded in death by a twin sister, Audrey Wactor Moss; and a brother, John Wactor.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Jerry Edward Pearson; two children, Rick Pearson (Jeanne), Randy Pearson (Thea); four grandchildren, Ricky Pearson, Bethany Pearson, Kevin Pearson, Lauren Pearson; great-grandchildren, Jesse Pearson, Alice Pearson, Jared Pearson, Tiana Pearson, Marigny Glasser, Jeremy Armand, and Brittany Fabre.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460 on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
