Our father, Earl Francis Johnson, Jr., passed on from this world on January 6, 2023, at the age of 80, after a short battle with an illness.  He will be sadly missed and will always be remembered in our hearts.  Dad was a longtime employee of NASA and Lockheed Martin, where he was an expert on the weather satellites. He loved spending his free time outside and working on anything that needed to be repaired.

He was predeceased by our Mother, Linda Hinrichs Johnson.  He is survived by his six children, Earl F. Johnson, and his wife, Kim, Holly Johnson Griffin, and her husband, Doug, Bennett Johnson, Deborah Johnson Casselberry, and her husband, Adam, Jason Johnson, Jennifer Johnson Walder, and her husband, Ernie, along with his many grandchildren.

The funeral will be a private ceremony with only close family members present. His final resting place will be at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, La., his home of 55 years.
