EDNA LIZ YARBROUGH, age 93, of Pearl River, LA, passed away on June 5th, 2024, surrounded by family.

She was born February 26th, 1931, in Anderson, South Carolina to Otis Roy Galbert and Lena Virginia (Rogers) Galbert, of Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas Leland Yarbrough and her children Florian Nick Dubuisson III, Theresa Virginia Dubuisson Davis, and stepchildren Thomas Leland Yarbrough Jr., and Elaine Yarbrough Meadows.

She is survived by her remaining children, Steven Paul Dubuisson, Josie Elizabeth Dubuisson Williams, Mark Thomas Dubuisson (Judy), and Rewa Leann Yarbrough Smith (Richard). She has 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was a long-time resident of Slidell, arriving back in the early 50s. She always liked to tell her grandchildren she remembered when Gause Blvd was only a dirt road. She spent time raising her children, working at A&P Supermarket in Slidell and running a Texaco service station with her husband for a time. She loved spending time with her family and friends and traveling when she could. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,

1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 11:00 A.M.

Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
