Eduardo Ignacio -Hidalgo Gato, 87, a native of Havana, Cuba, and a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, was received by his heavenly father on Saturday, July 15, 2023.

He was a graduate of The New York Military Academy, class of 1955. He spent most of his career working for himself as an electrician.

Eduardo is survived by his ex-wife Marta Gato, three daughters and one son: Beatriz Dunn, Elena Scott, Margarita Vindas and Eddie Gato. HIs loving family includes his son in laws James Scott and John Vindas. His Grandchildren, Blaize Dunn, Gabrielle Dunn, Christian Scott, Austin Scott, Joshua Kalo, and Caleb Vindas.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial that will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, July29th, at Cultivation Church in Covington, La.
