Elizabeth "Liz" Farrow Carroll of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024, in Slidell at the age of 85.

Liz was a native of Slidell, Louisiana, born on Sunday, June 19,1938 to LeRoy and Velma Farrow.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Russell Carroll; her parents, and two sisters, Doris Warren and Wilma Larouche. Liz graduated from Slidell High School in 1956.  Soon after, she married her loving husband, Russell Carroll.

Liz is survived by four daughters, Robin Bowers (Vaughn), Renee Weigel (David), Lori Lott (Tommy), Michelle Holmes (Gary); brother, LeRoy Farrow (Judy); grandchildren, Chelsea Mancil (Eric), Ashley Bowers (Elizabeth), Victoria Miller (Brandon), Blake Bonnaffons (Caroline), Katelyn Giraldi (Matt), Karli Narcisse (Josh), Allison Lott; great-grandchildren, Sophie Mancil, Aubrey Walker, Jude Mancil, Halleigh Bonnaffons, Bradley Bowers, Anne Russell Bowers, Tritt Bonnaffons, Adalynn Grace Bowers, Madeline Giraldi and Lainey Bonnaffons.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Barbara Carroll, brother-in-law, Charles Warren and a host of extended family.

Liz was a former parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in New Orleans and a current parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Church in Slidell.  She will be fondly remembered as a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother "Mere'".

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460, on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m.  Liz will be laid to rest beside her late husband, Russell, in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
