Elizabeth Nethlin Rosier Kaufman (Betty), 96, wife of the late Eugene Kaufman, married for 70 years, went home to be with the Lord on April 18, 2025. She was born July 28, 1928, in Bastrop, Louisiana.

Elizabeth graduated from St. Joseph's Catholic School in Natchez, Mississippi. As a homemaker, she raised their 5 children. She was instrumental in forming an organization to raise awareness of ADHD. At Woodland Presbyterian Church she was much involved in the life of the church. Elizabeth was a Stephen's Minister and Stephen's Leader, she went on a few of Woodland's Lay Renewals, sang in the choir, etc.

Elizabeth is survived by her children Valerie Ann Kaufman Roberts (Steven) of Slidell, LA, Eugene Edward Kaufman of Savannah, TX, Judy Elizabeth Kaufman Martinez of Savannah TX, Louis Charles Kaufman II of New Orleans, LA; grandchildren Shane Maghee Roberts (Courtney), Heather Kaufman, Kevin Clay Roberts (Jessica), David Michael Martinez; great grandchildren Molly Grace Bock, Abigail Clarke Roberts, Audrey Hope Roberts, Owen Maghee Roberts, and Elliot Frann Roberts. Elizabeth is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cherished friends.

Preceded in death by her parents Anna Margarite Rodrigue Rosier Reinhardt, Patrick Joseph Rosier, her siblings, Anna Marie Villars, Dolores Mae Bastelli, her daughter, Nancy Jane Kaufman Moore (Kevin); her son-in-law Richard Raymond Martinez (Judy), grandchildren Jenna Nicole Kaufman Sacco (William), Richard Joel Mosman (Lindsey).

On May 16, 2025, at 1:00 pm a Memorial Service will be held at Woodland Presbyterian Church EPC, Algiers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church.
