Ernestine "Tina" Tules Kaufmann, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on July 28, 2022.

Tina was born on March 3, 1942 in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2002, she moved to Slidell to be closer to her three sons and their families.

She was the wife of the late Valentine Kaufmann, Jr.; a loving mother to David Kaufmann and wife Laura, Chris Kaufmann and wife Pam, and Mark Kaufmann, Sr.; and a caring grandmother to David Angelo Kaufmann and wife Charee', Lauren Kaufmann Navarre and husband Jason, Mark Kaufmann, Jr., Blaine Kaufmann and fiancé Macy Grigor, and Rachel Kaufmann. She was also survived by five great-grandchildren: Mason Kaufmann, Dyllan Navarre, Marshal Kaufmann, Jocelyn Navarre and Raegan Kaufmann.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Bryce Kaufmann and her parents, Angelo Tules and Rose Tortorich Tules.

She was also a devoted sister to Victoria Duplantis and husband Whitney Duplantis Jr., and Godmother to Dr. Dina Duplantis and husband Russ Meyer.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 400 Westchester Place, Slidell, LA on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 12:00 P.M.

Interment will follow in St. Roch's Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.

Visitation at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until funeral time.
