Flora Jean Dew Cote, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Frank Cote, and a son, Aubrey Thomas Cote.

Mrs. Cote is survived by three sons, Lloyd Frank Cote Jr. (Tracy) of Pelham, Alabama, Matthew Owen Cote of Slidell, Louisiana, Douglas Lamar Cote (Kelly) of Daphne, Alabama; three daughters, Frances J. Eldridge (Ron) of Pearl River, Louisiana, Dorothy R. Lyle (Harold) of Slidell, Louisiana, and Valerie C. Dial (the late Frank) of St. Rose, Louisiana. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Mrs. Cote was a resident of Slidell since 1966 and a parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church since 1968. She had a unwavering devotion to her faith and her family. She will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Catholic Funeral Mass at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at 11:30 A.M.

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation at the funeral home will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. immediately followed by a Rosary Prayer Service from 11:00 A.M. until funeral time.
