Florence P. Saucier, 96, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, in Slidell.

Florence was born August 31, 1927, in New Orleans, Lousiana, to Otto and Florence Puderer.  In 1953 she married Fred Saucier.  In 2006 the couple moved from Arabi to Slidell.  She was a parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Slidell.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Saucier; brothers, Clifford Puderer, Harold Puderer; sisters, Eloise Fischer, and Mary Gough.

She is survived by a son, Tim Saucier; granddaughter, Suzanne Closson; grandson, Bryce Hackett; five great-grandchilren, Lexie Saucier, Kassidy Hawkins, Brayden Jackson, Seirra Harshberger, and Laynee Closson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA.

Visitation will begin at 10:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans.
