Frances "Fran" Frey Dupre, 81, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, in Slidell.

Fran was born April 10, 1943, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Jonas and Dorothy Frey.

In 1963 she married Antoine "Eddie" Dupre in New Orleans. In 1979 the family moved to Slidell.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Mayeaux; a grandchild, James Sellers, and a great-grandchild, Elliott Santalla.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Dupre; three children, Richard Dupre, Rene Dupre (Sheila), Cheryl Cabler (Faron); nine grandchildren, Brittany Dupre, Natalie Crochet, Nicole Dupre, Rene Dupre II, Lauren Dupre, Ashley Reis, Justin Santalla, Devin Darby, Chance Cabler; greatgrandchildren, Paisley, Parker Rae, Hadley, Cooper, Leighton, Sean, Trevor, Luna, Rene III, Tyler, Peyson, Nate, Arya, Nolan, Brody, Bradley; sister, Marguerite Tardo; niece, Donna Kelley; and other relatives.

Memorial Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460, on Monday, July 22, 2024.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the memorial service at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Animal Shelter in memory of Fran's love for animals.
