Frank J. Alphonso, 81, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023, in Slidell.

Frank was born December 11, 1941, to John and Julia Alphonso. Frank grew up in St. Bernard Parish and New Orleans.  In October 1963, he married Margaret Mary Tekippe.

After Hurricane Katrina, the couple moved to Slidell.

He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly fifty years, Margaret Alphonso.

He is survived by four children, Connie Alphonso, Keith Alphonso (Regina), Sheri Alphonso Moss (Chuck), Curt Alphonso (Carla); one brother, Alfred Alphonso; seven grandchildren, Melissa Alphonso, Nicholas Viverito, Donovan Viverito, Luke Alphonso, Owen Alphonso, Cameron Lackey, Dylan Moss; and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, Louisiana, on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm.
