Frank Appel, 85, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, in Slidell.

Frank was born August 2, 1939, in New Orleans, Louisiana.  In 1961 he married Sandi Turner and the couple settled in Arabi, Lousiana.  In 2005 the couple relocated to Slidell.

Frank was preceded in death by a grandchild, Sarah Appel.

He is survived by his wife, Sandi Appel; two children, Daniel Appel, Dean Appel (Deana); two grandchildren, Trae Appel, Alexandria Idrac; four greatgrandchildren, Aubrie Appel, Liam Louth, Eloise Idrac, Arlo Idrac.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
