Franklin R. "Frank" Hausmann, 78, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in Slidell.

Frank was born April 26, 1947, in Stockton, California.

Frank was preceded in death by two wives, Carol Ann Hausmann, Nancy Ewalt; and a  brother, Richard Hausmann.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hausmann; two children, Julie Paretti (Gregg), F. Craig Hausmann (Marie); one brother, Donald Hausmann (Janice); four grandchildren, Gabriel Paretti, Amelia Paretti, Katarina Hausmann, Reese Hausmann; one great-grandchild, Mateo Zavala; nephews, D.J. Hausmann (Michelle), Jon Hausmann and Rusty Hausmann. Step-dad to Eric Vandeveld (Natalie), David Vandeveld (Joanna) and step-grandfather to Adeline Vandeveld and Madelynn Vandeveld.

Frank was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, step-father and step-grandfather. Most importantly his lived his life dedicated to serving God, most recently at Northshore Church in Slidell. And using Jesus as an example, he dedicated his life to taking care of those around him. He loved his family, outdoor activities - especially fishing, reading, traveling – especially on cruises, and was proud to serve his country. He always did his best to live his life with honor and integrity, from his love of his family, military service, as a volunteer fireman, and as an usher at church and most recently fighting the aggressive disease that he fought for a short three months. His love for God and his family never waivered.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Northshore Church, 310 Kensington Blvd, Slidell, on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11:00am CST. To view online, please go to www.northshorechurch.net.

A private burial will be held at a later date, at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, in Slidell.
