Gasper Anthony Dinicola, 87, a longtime resident of the New Orleans area, and a resident of Covington since 2006, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in Covington Louisiana.

Mr. Dinicola was born on Christmas Day, 1938, in Lake, Louisiana to the late Philip and Rosalie Dinicola. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Regina Sneed Dinicola; and his brother, Paul Dinicola.

He faithfully served our country in the U.S.A.F. Air National Guard of Louisiana and retired after 25 years of honorable service. Gasper also proudly worked as a field engineer for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for 37 years.

Gasper is survived by his three children, Mindy Dinicola-Tassin (Clifford), Gregg Dinicola (Denise), and Gary Dinicola (Kelly); nine grandchildren, Paris Russell, Meghan Borge, Gage Dinicola, Matthew Robichaux, Jacob Robichaux, Gavin Dinicola, Garrett Dinicola DPT, Danielle Dinicola, and Christopher Falcon; as well as nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Philip Dinicola and his sister, Josephine Jacob.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Catholic Funeral Mass at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary Street, Madisonville, LA. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 11:00 A.M.

Visitation at the church on Friday after 10:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Interment with Military Honors will be held at 1:30 P.M. at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Rd, Slidell, LA. 70460.
