Gerald J. Borne, Sr., age 81 years, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for the past 25 years, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022, in Slidell.

Beloved father of Sharon Borne Conaway (Butch), Theresa Borne Kain (Marty), Catherine Borne Shinn (Wes), Gerald Joseph Borne, Jr. (Wanda), and Connie Borne Fiorella (Tony).

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Judith Jones Borne; his parents, Joseph J. and Myrtle Wise Borne; and his mother and father-in-law, Ethel M. Fayard Jones and Davis A. Jones.

Survived by his brothers, Ronald J. Borne (Cheryl), John J. Borne (Paula), and Terry (Toons) J. Borne (Wendy); and his sister-in-law, Margaret (Amy) Anselmi.

He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE BLVD., WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on ) Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 11:00am. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday morning beginning at 9:00am.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
