Gwen Litzenberger, age 75, of Slidell, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.

She is survived by her beloved hunny bunny of 38 years, John Litzenberger Sr., her children, Stacey (Dennis) Alexander and Michael Litzenberger; stepchildren, John Litzenberger Jr. and Karen (Tim) Dauterive; grandchildren, Lexus (Devon) Edwards, Jesse Salisbury, Courtney Litzenberger, Lauren and Jordyn Alexander; and 6 great grandchildren. Gwen is also survived by her siblings, Michael (Susan) Maresma, Mary (Bill) Strecker as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edgar J. and Earline Maresma, and her grandson Brett McCraney.

Gwen was a kindhearted yet feisty soul. She enjoyed square dancing, going out to eat with family and friends, watching Hallmark movies, and traveling the country in particular Disney World with her hunny bunny John and stepson Johnny. She was always the designated driver whenever attending gatherings with family and friends. Gwen will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 1:00 P.M.

Visitation on Tuesday after 11:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
