Hope Cousin Ray, 78, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in Slidell, Louisiana.

Hope was born April 29, 1947, in New Orleans, and grew up in Lacombe, Lousiana.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elvina Cousin, sister Joycelyn Nunnery and her longtime companion, Aaron LeJeune.

She is survived by two children, Tay Ray, Heather Acker; two brothers, Craig Casborne, Gerald Casborne; sisters, Carol Ducre, Beverly Laurent, Myrna Cousin Laurent, Dedra Hayes, Denise Cousin, Noreen Reyes; four grandchildren, Tyler Dean, Grace Gifford, Nicholas Acker, Chase Acker; great-granddaughter, Charlotte Renee.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
