Ismael Benasco, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Summerfield Assisted Living.

Ismael is the beloved husband of Judith Benasco; father to Tommy Benasco and the late Lori Brignac; brother to the late Gines Benasco Jr., Jose Benasco, Paco Benasco, and Domingo Benasco.

He is survived by Jessica Jimenez, Thomas Benasco, Anthony Benasco, Anthony Lisgo, Daniel Benasco, Christine Benasco, Sierra Benasco (Great Grand Daughter), and Scarlett Lisgo (Great Grand Daughter).

A native of the Canary Islands, Spain.

Ismael was a contractor in New York for over forty years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 400 WESTCHESTER PL, Slidell, LA 70458 on Saturday June 6, 2026, at 10:00 A.M.

Father Mumphrey will be officiating.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY (1751 GAUSE BLVD W, Slidell, LA 70469) immediately following the service.
